Joey Faye

burlesque comic

Though Faye appeared in several television shows, films and stage productions, he is best remembered for his career in vaudeville and burlesque, where he most often played second banana. He made famous the vaudeville routines “Slowly I Turn” and “Floogle Street.” His Broadway credits include Man of La Mancha; his television shows include The Joey Faye Show and Mack and Meyer for Hire; and his films include Ten North Frederick and The Front.
