Tandil

Tandil (tändēlˈ) [key], city (1991 pop. 90,427), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. Founded in 1823 as Fuerte Independencia, it was a military outpost against Native Anmericans. Tandil is today an attractive resort city.
