Lauterbrunnen

Lauterbrunnen (louˈtərbrŏnən) [key], town, SE of Interlaken, S central Switzerland, in the Bernese Alps. It is famous for its springs and waterfalls, such as the Staubbach, which falls nearly 1,000 ft (305 m) from Mürren, and the Trümmelbach, which descends in a series of cascades.
