Aniello Falcone

Falcone, Aniello (änyĕlˈlō fälkôˈnā) [key], 1607–56, Italian baroque painter of the Neapolitan school. He is known primarily for his battle pieces. There are examples in the National Museum, Naples; the Prado; and the Louvre.
