Regillus, Lake

Regillus, Lake (rĭjĭlˈəs) [key], in ancient Latium, SE of Rome, possibly near Frascati. Traditionally it was the scene of a battle (499 or 496 B.C.) by which Rome gained supremacy in Latium.
