Ramoth-gilead

Ramoth-gilead (rā'moth-gil'ēăd) [key]or Ramoth in Gilead,city of ancient Palestine, E of the Jordan. It is named in the Bible as a place of refuge and as Ahab's last battlefield. It also appears as Ramah.
