counsel, Arizona state house Republican caucus, 1991-1992; special
assistant attorney general State of Arizona, 1983-1990; advisor,
United States Sentencing Commission; elected as a Republican to the
One Hundred Fourth and seven succeeding Congresses (January 3,
1995-January 3, 2011); was not a candidate for reelection to the
One Hundred Twelfth Congress in 2010.
