1989; staff for United States Senator Trent Lott of Mississippi,
1992-1996; United States Department of Agriculture, 1989-1990;
elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fifth and to the five
succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1997-January 3, 2009); was not a
candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress in
2008.
