Indianapolis, Ind., 1942; attended Butler University, Indianapolis,
Ind.; lawyer, private practice; United States Navy, 1942-1945;
elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-first Congress (January 3,
1949-January 3, 1951); unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the
Eighty-second Congress in 1950; judge of Allen County Superior
Court No. 2, Fort Wayne, Ind., 1952; banker; business executive;
financial consultant; died on January 4, 2000, in Fort Lauderdale,
Fla.
