KOSMAS, Suzanne M., a Representative from Florida; born in Washington, Washington County, D.C., February 25, 1944; attended Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pa., 1961-1963; attended George Mason University, Fairfax, Va., 1971-1973; B.A., Stetson University, DeLand, Fla., 1998; realtor; member, Florida state house of representatives 1996-2004; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress (January 3, 2009-January 3, 2011); unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Twelfth Congress in 2010.
