Wright, Federal District Court of Delaware, 1965-1966; Lycoming County, Pa., district attorney, 1968-1976; Delegate, Democratic National Convention, 1972; elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fifth, Ninety-sixth, and Ninety-seventh Congresses (January 3, 1977-January 3, 1983); was not a candidate for reelection, but was an unsuccessful candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania in 1982; unsuccessful candidate for attorney general of Pennsylvania in 1984; died on November 19, 2015, in Williamsport, Pa.
