Bush administration official and former oil-industry lobbyist, resigned his post as chief of staff of the Council of Environmental Quality in June, two days after the New York Times reported that he had tampered with government documents on climate and global warming. The changes he made questioned the link between greenhouse gas emissions and the rise in temperatures. After resigning, he accepted a job with ExxonMobil.
