The latest law in a series of labor reforms in France is meant to restore balance between work and personal life, the "right to disconnect" takes effect on Jan. 1, 2017. Any employer who has 50 or more employees must negotiate with staff to come up with guidelines governing the use/non-use of technology including computers and smartphones.
