- School Shooting in San Francisco
- Four males waited in the parking lot of San Francisco, California's June Jordan School for Equity and City Arts and Technology High School as students were released for the day, opening fire and injuring four students including a 15-year-old female who is critically injured. The school district releases a statement that this was an isolated incident and that the schools will be open on Oct. 19, with additional support systems for scared students.
