On Nov. 10, 2016, South African President Jacob Zuma survives a no-confidence vote in parliament, 214–126. It is the third time within a year that Zuma is brought in front of parliament for a no-confidence vote, earning the title "survivor-in-chief" from CNN. The most recent stimulus for Zuma to stand down comes after an October report alleging his involvement in wide-ranging, high-level corruption. The motion is brought to parliament by Zuma's opposition, the Democratic Alliance.
