Today's Weather Fact...

On this date in 1955, two tornadoes hammered the town of Blackwell, Oklahoma, in the span of a few minutes. The twin killers took 18 lives and injured over 500. Early the following morning another tornado obliterated the small town of Udall, Kansas, killing 80 and injuring 270. The tornado was so strong and the town so small that more than half of the residents were killed or injured.
