Bo Burnham is a comedian whose first feature film was the well-received comedy Eighth Grade (starring Elsie Fisher). After a brief stay at New York's Tisch School of the Arts, Burnham pursued a comedy career. Comedy Central gave him a record contract in 2008, and he released his first full-length comedy record in 2009 (Bo Burnham). He's since done stand-up specials for Comedy Central and Netflix, and maintains a YouTube channel he started in 2006. Burnham specializes in musical comedy parodies. He wrote and directed Eighth Grade, a coming-of-age comedy that won over audiences at its 2018 Sundance Film Festival premiere.
