1998 FIFA World Cup UEFA Qualifications

Each group winner from the final round of UEFA, the second place team with the most points, plus France as the host country automatically qualify for France. '98. The remaining eight second-place teams in each group earn spots in the playoff for the four remaining UEFA bids. See below for playoff schedule.
