This Robin Hood-like romp follows two London swindlers (Futterman and Townsend) as they rip off the rich with the help of a gamine gal-pal (a show-stealing Beckinsale). Despite the trio's strains to be madcap, the airy and occasionally spirited caper inevitably curdles the infectious into the affected.
