Just when you thought the networks had given up on sci-fi thrillers, along comes Prey, the latest X-Files clone about a new species bent on destroying humankind. While conducting DNA tests on a murderer, bio-anthropologist Sloan Parker (Messing) discovers this new breed, which looks and acts like “real” humans. Her discovery fuels distrust and paranoia: Is the person next to you a human or something that looks like one but really wants you dead?
