First and second round picks at the 51st annual NBA College Draft held June 25, 1997 at Charlotte Coliseum. The order of the first 11 positions were determined by a Draft Lottery held May 18, in Secaucus, N.J. Toronto and Vancouver were not eligible to receive the first pick and Washington forfeited its 1997 first-round draft pick in connection with its signing of Juwan Howard.
