24, sprinter, won three gold and two bronze medals at the Sydney Olympics in Sept., somewhat of a disappointment since many expected her to become the first U.S. track and field athlete to win five golds at one Olympics. She competed in the 100- and 200-meter sprints, as well as the long jump and the 400- and 1,600-meter relays.
