Cyclone Nisarga Threat Looms

Cyclone Nisarga

On June 3, coronavirus patients were part of the 100,000 people in Mumbai evacuated due to the looming threat of Cyclone Nisarga. At least one person has died as the storm hit land. Officials have stated that apart from roofs and trees, there has not been much damage. (CNN)

Growing Fire in Arizona

On June 12, a fire sparked by lightning a week earlier strengthened, threatening hundreds of homes and thousands of acres. The fire is now on 6,200 acres and only 10% contained. (CNN)

Wildfire in Utah

Utah Fires

On June 28, a wildfire was sparked in Utah after a resident set off fireworks. Strong gusts of wind have caused the fire to spread another 100-200 acres. At least 30 homes have been evacuated, with evacuation orders increasing. (CNN)
