Wachusett Reservoir

Wachusett Reservoir wôcho͞o´sĭt [key], on the South Branch of the Nashua River, central Mass., NE of Worcester built 1897–1905. Impounded by Wachusett Dam (completed 1906), it receives some of its water from Quabbin Reservoir and supplies the Boston area.
