Pescara

Pescara, city (1991 pop. 122,236), capital of Pescara prov., in Abruzzi, central Italy, on the Adriatic Sea at the mouth of the Pescara River. It is a fishing port and a seaside resort. Cement, textiles, machinery, and processed food are produced there.
