Ceraunian Mountains

Ceraunian Mountains sĭrôn´ēən [key], Albanian Kanalit, coastal range, S Albania, extending northwest c.70 mi (110 km) from the Greek border to the Strait of Otranto Mt. Çikës (6,726 ft/2,050 m) is the highest peak. At the northern end the rugged range forks around Vlorë Bay the west fork ends in Cape Linguetta (Albanian Gjuhëzës ). The range is sometimes called the Acroceraunian Mts.
