Přerov pərzhĕˈrôf [key], Ger. Prerau, city (1991 pop. 51,300), E Czech Republic, in Moravia. A railway center, Přerov manufactures precision instruments, textiles, and foodstuffs. The 16th-century Žerotín Castle is now a museum.
