Aguadilla

Aguadilla äˌgwädēˈyä, äˌwä– [key], town, NW Puerto Rico, a port on Mona Passage. It is a commerical and manufacturing center with varied products; other industries include fishing and tourism. Inter-American Univ. has a campus there. Columbus reputedly landed at the site of Aguadilla in 1493.
