Lüneburg

Lüneburg lüˈnəbo͝orgər hīˈdə [key], a vast heath, SW of Lüneburg, lies between the Elbe and Aller rivers. It is a sandy region; sheep are raised and petroleum is produced. Parts of the heath are game preserves.
