Sagamihara

Sagamihara sägämēˈhärä [key], city (1990 pop. 531,542), Kanagawa prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. It is a suburb of Tokyo with metallurgical, food processing, and electrical appliance industries. The surrounding agricultural region produces rice, wheat, tobacco, and livestock.
