Goshogawara gōshōgä´wärä [key], city (1990 pop. 47,976), Aomori prefecture, N Honshu, Japan. The city consists of two areas, one coastal and the other—the site of the city's downtown—inland on the Iwaki River they are separated by part of the city of Nakadomari. It is an agricultural market and a communications center.
