Toyohashi

Toyohashi tōyōˈhäˈshē [key], city (1990 pop. 337,982), Aichi prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. It is a leading cotton and silk production center. Toyohashi was formerly an important castle town of the Matsudaira clan.
