Menzel Bourguiba

Menzel Bourguiba mănzĭlˈ äbo͞oˈ ro͞oˌkībäˈ [key], formerly Ferryville, town (1994 pop. 47,521), N Tunisia, on Lake Bizerte. It was founded as a naval installation during the period of French rule. After Tunisia became independent (1956), it was renamed in honor of Habib Bourguiba, Tunisia's leader.
