Auberjonois, René Victor

Auberjonois, René Victor rənāˈ vēktôrˈ ōbāzhônwäˈ [key], 1872–1957, Swiss artist. Auberjonois settled in Lausanne in 1914 and created costumes for Stravinsky's Histoire du Soldat (1917). His paintings, characterized by muted colors and geometric forms, reveal an independent spirit influenced by cubism.
