  1. the dried, unexpanded flower heads of a wormwood, Artemisia cinaor the fruit of certain goosefoots, esp. Chenopodium anthelminticum (or C. ambrosioides), the Mexican tea or American wormseed, used as an anthelmintic drug.
  2. any of these plants.
