Brewer's: Trovatore

(Il) (4 syl.). Manrico, the son of Garzia, brother of the Comte di Luna. Verdi's opera so called is taken from the drama of Gargia Guttierez, which is laid in the fifteenth century. Trovatore means a troubadour.
