This British quintet, which first made a splash with the 1993 single “Creep,” has made enormous strides since, and this third album firmly establishes Radiohead as this generation's successor to Pink Floyd. Dense, deep and sometimes difficult to wade through, OK Computer is a serious listener's delight that grows stronger with each new play while revealing hidden wonders along the way. Its unconventional song structures prove immensely refreshing. The disc starts with the staggered rhythms and guitar layered grooves of “Airbag” and winds into standouts like the long, eerie lead single “Paranoid Android” and the delightful tale of interstellar travelers, “Subterranean Homesick Alien.”
