Jack Nicholson plays a crusty, crass and cynical ... Jack Nicholson? Well, he's supposed to be Melvin Udall, a sexist obsessive-compulsive whose bitter iciness is melted by a heart-of-gold waitress (Hunt) and his gay neighbor (Kinnear). Nicholson swiped another Best Actor Oscar for the part, but we still think the little monkey-faced dog deserved it!
