If it weren't for the riveting star-power of Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Entrapment might just be another flashy techno-thief story. Even at the ripe age of 68 Connery projects the lordly cool and consummate panache that secured him success as Agent 007. The shapely Zeta-Jones shines in the role of an insurance investigator doubling as his partner-in-crime. A series of technologically advanced thefts lead to a high-stakes millennial heist in the world's tallest building. Thieves' honor keeps the couple struggling to stay romantically uninvolved; Connery was one of the film's producers, so you know they won't stay apart for too long. Director Jon Amiel spends more time focusing on Zeta-Jones' posterior than character development, but nobody really minds—the stars execute their international romp with a suave chemistry and undeniable style that's a pleasure to watch.
