The Chicago Bulls

The Bulls may have seen their last celebration in Chicago's Grant Park for quite awhile thanks to Michael Jordan's (third from right) long-awaited decision to retire.

Rumors have circulated that Jerry Reinsdorf, Jerry Krause, and the rest of the Bulls' brass have been waiting for this day to come, almost looking forward to it. The question is — why? Were they getting bored with their success? Looking for a new challenge? It would appear so, as the two seemingly dared Jordan to retire by pushing away Jordan's friend and favorite coach Phil Jackson. Well, their wish has been granted. Odds are high that Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman could follow Jordan out of the Chicago, leaving the Windy City with a team not much better than the L.A. Clippers. And they're being led by rookie coach Tim Floyd. Sure, not having to pay Jordan $33 million a year will save them some money, but how many Bill Wennington or Steve Kerr shirts do you think they'll sell?
