The good-natured whimsy of Nickelodeon's Rugrats transplants quite smoothly to the big screen. All the familiar TV characters are here, from good-natured Tommy Pickles (voice of Daily) to Angelica (voice of Chase), the Machiavellian 3 year old. Into this humorous and off-kilter constellation of characters comes newborn star, Dil Pickles (voice of Charendoff). Exhausted by the crying infant who suddenly occupies the center of the Rugrat world, the other babies band together to return Dil to the baby store. Adventures begin when they lose their way and end up in a forest. The episodes they encounter on the journey home are both charming and absurd: perfect for the kids but with a goofy wit adults will enjoy.
