There were two Oscar ceremonies held at Los Angeles's Ambassador Hotel in 1930. This one, held on April 3, honored films released in 1928–1928. The other, held on Nov. 3 honored films released in 1930. See 1929–1930 Academy Awards for the winners of the Nov. 5 awards.
