Ali Landry
Ali Landry was named Miss USA of 1996 and later went on to co-host the TV series America's Greatest Pets. Her popularity soared when she appeared in a 1998 Super Bowl commercial for Doritos snack chips, then appeared in other ads as the "Doritos Girl." People magazine named Ali Landry one of 1998's 50 Most Beautiful People. She later made appearances on TV shows including Malcolm and Eddie (1999) and Felicity (2000, starring Keri Russell), and had roles in the movies Outta Time (2002) and Bella (2006). Landry has done less acting since the birth of her daughter, Estela, in 2006; she has written on her website, "I made a decision at that point to walk consciously through life and to be the best wife, mother, daughter and friend I could be." In 2009 she teamed up with former baseball star Jeff Kent in The Superstars, a made-for-TV show that featured celebrity teams in sports competitions. (Skiier Kristi Leskinen and dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy were the final victors.)
Ali Landry was Miss Louisiana before she was Miss USA… Landry married former Saved By the Bell star Mario Lopez in April of 2004; the couple separated the next month and divorced. She married Mexican director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde in April of 2006; he was her director on Bella. They have two children: son Marcelo Alejandro (b. 2011) and daughter Estela (b. 2007).
