Worst Countries to be a Mother

The following table lists the ten worst countries of the world to be a mother in 2011. The Mother's Index ranks the health, educational, and economic conditions of 164 countries. Industrialized and especially European countries are consistently among the highest ranking countries, while countries of sub-Saharan Africa dominate the lowest ranking.
