Here's a list of the most gay-friendly cities in the U.S. according to the Advocate. The magazine uses their own equation, which includes LGBT elected officials, WNBA teams, transgender protections, LGBT bookstores, and more. You won't find the usual suspects (New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles) on this list.
