Born at Cleveland, Ohio, March 6, 1884. Educated at Smith College, from which she graduated in 1904. She is the author of two volumes of poetry: "Myself and I", 1913, and "Crack O' Dawn", 1915, both marked by sensitive poetic feeling and delicate artistry.
