• Job Numbers Slow Down in March (Apr. 3): According to the Labor Department, the U.S. economy adds 126,000 jobs in March, far less than the 295,000 jobs added in February. However, the unemployment rate holds at 5.5%, the same as February, and hourly wages rise 0.3% in the private sector for March.
