Neil Flanagan plays the title character, a chaplain at a prison colony. Abusing his power to the utmost, Flanagan wields a supernatural hold over the unfortunate prisoners. When he's not busy dispatching his slaves to go grave robbing, the Mad Monk is commiserating with his AC-DC mistress and an assortment of ghoulies, ghosties and long-legged beasties. Producer-director-writer Andy Milligan based his screenplay on a short story by M.A. Isaacs.~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
