Description: CHECKPOINT takes place in the Northern Caucasus where a hard-luck platoon is sent to a remote valley, far from friendly territory. And, if possible, stay out of trouble, despite continual provocations from scornful, black-clad peasants, an unseen guerilla sniper who strikes as regularly as clockwork, flirty international relief workers, sheer boredom, and their own private vices for sex and drugs.
