Carly Patterson

American Gymnast

Won gold in the women's all-around competition, a first for an American in a non-boycotted Olympics, and earned a silver in the team competition and the balance beam at the 2004 Athens Olympics; won team competition and came in second in the all-around at 2003 world championships.
